ALEA Investigating Fatal Crash Involving Elderly Person

CHOCTAW COUNTY Ala.
A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:24 p.m. Monday, June 30, has claimed the life of a Butler woman.
Evie D. Turner, 77, was fatally injured when the 2016 Ford Fusion she was driving left the roadway, struck several trees, and overturned.
Tuner was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Choctaw County 18 near Kirksey Road, approximately five miles northeast of Toxey City Limits, in Choctaw County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
