Alabama Real Estate Agent Abducted, 5 Suspects Wanted

According to police, an Alabama real estate agent reported missing nearly two months ago was abducted and five people are wanted, marking a “significant shift” in the case from early reports that it didn’t appear he was in any danger.
Ronald Leslie Dumas Jr., 37, of Huntsville, was last seen on Dec. 15, 2024. A missing persons report was filed on Dec. 17, 2024, and he was placed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s Missing Persons List as a missing adult on Dec. 23, 2024.
The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) said it obtained “critical new evidence” indicating that Dumas was abducted.
The department and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency also upgraded the missing adult alert for Dumas to a missing and endangered person alert on Friday, Feb. 7, stating he “is believed to have been abducted and in danger of bodily harm or death.”
According to HPD, Dumas was last seen on security camera footage entering a liquor store on University Drive accompanied by two women shortly before 10:30 p.m. He was later seen leaving the store with them and police originally said he did not appear to be under any distress.
Through the investigation, HPD received information that led to the identification of the women and traced them to their apartment. Further investigation confirmed their connection to Dumas and revealed additional evidence of his abduction. As the case progressed, HPD determined multiple individuals were involved in the incident.
Police said as a result of the investigation, arrest warrants were issued for five people, including four Tennesseans.
Quintarius Shikelion White, 32, of Memphis is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
Toure Laron McLaurin, 33, of Memphis is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
Sabrina Rochelle Chambers, 27, of Huntsville is wanted for first-degree kidnapping.
Kierra Symone Clark, 27, of Memphis is wanted for conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
Carissa Cash, 33, of Memphis is wanted for first-degree receiving stolen property.
HPD said it is working alongside the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force to find and arrest these people, and urge anyone who recognizes or encounters these people to report them to local law enforcement.
The family spoke to News 2’s sister station, WHNT, on Friday afternoon to share their response to hearing the new developments regarding Dumas being abducted, their concerns and next steps.
HPD also said that with assistance from the FBI, a credible lead identified a 450-acre area south of Memphis, extending into northern Mississippi, as a potential location for Dumas.
Overall, the family said they had been disappointed with their conversations with police regarding the investigation. Shakeria Samples, the mother of one of Dumas’ children, said this is the long-awaited acknowledgment of what they had known since the beginning.
Talia Berryhill, the mother of Dumas’s other children, said they want him home and they need this to be over for the kids – and for themselves.
After receiving this information, HPD said a search was conducted on Thursday, Feb. 6, by 20 investigators, “including crime scene personnel and drone operators, from HPD, the Memphis Police Department, the DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office and Southeastern Search Dogs to gather evidence and potentially locate Dumas.”
Dumas’ car was found on the side of I-40 in Camden on Dec. 16, 2024. Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) was dispatched to a call about an abandoned vehicle around 6:30 a.m. and found the vehicle near mile marker 133 close to Camden approximately nine minutes later. It was impounded that same day.
Two days after the vehicle was impounded, THP discovered it belonged to Dumas and dispatched multiple state troopers to the mile marker where the vehicle was found in order to search for him on foot.
On Dec. 19, 2024, HPD said they sent requests for the location history of Dumas’ cell phone to his cell service providers. Cell service location history revealed Dumas’ cell phone was traveling west on I-40 past mile marker 133 and toward Jackson at approximately 6:08 a.m., where his phone history showed he was less than an hour later.
“We have reason to believe that he made it to Jackson, Tennessee. His phone location history shows that on Dec. 16th, just after 7 a.m., his phone was on I-40 just outside of Jackson, TN,” HPD told WHNT on Dec. 24, 2024.
Police later shared that the most recent phone information indicated Dumas’ phone was tracked heading south from Memphis on Dec. 21, 2024.
