Alabama Man Charged With 50 Counts of Possession of Child Pornography

BIRMINGHAM, AL (WBMA) — A Gadsden man was arrested in connection to a child pornography investigation.
The Gadsden Police Department said 52-year-old Brian Scott Lipscomb was charged with 50 counts of possession of child pornography after a search and arrest warrant was executed at his residence.
The police department said this case is the result of a coordinated effort between the Gadsden Police Department, the Oxford Police Department, and the East Metro Area Crime Center, which has been critical in moving this case forward.
Lipscomb was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held on a $1,000,000 bond.
Police said additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
