Wreck on I-10 Injures Several People, Snarls Traffic

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. Several vehicle crashes were reported during a heavy rainstorm that moved through Baldwin County on Monday shortly after 4 p.m., including one on Interstate 10 that included a rollover and several injuries.
Several people were injured at around 4:20 near the 49-mile marker after one vehicle flipped and a second vehicle crashed.
Firefighters, EMS, and troopers responded, and law enforcement diverted traffic into the outer lanes and shut down the lane that was close to the wreck area.
Several injured persons were transported to area hospitals.
