Walmart Employee Arrested For Embezzling Over $100,00

HIGH POINT, N.C. An investigation that began with loss prevention agents noticing a large retain theft scam by an employee has resulted in felony charges.
Police have arrested Martaijah Jackson,31, on May 26, 2026, in Charlotte, NC accusing her of embezzling 6 figures from Walmart where she was an employee.
According to police, the investigation between store personnel and police working together discovered that there were multiple thefts committed by Martaijah and that she had embezzled more than $121,471 while working at the store.
Martaijah was in a management role and used that position to slowly but surely steal cash over several months, prosecutors say.
Martaijah is accused of pocketing the money and then abruptly quitting her job at Walmart. Once Walmart discovered the alleged missing cash, the suspect was gone.
Police were able to track her to Charlotte and arrested her on felony charges including embezzlement.
