Two People Shot, Mobile Police Car Struck, on St. Stephens Road

MOBILE, AL. The Mobile Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting Sunday that left several people injured.
On Sunday, August 31, 2025, at approximately 3:00 a.m., officers were already in the 1600 block of St. Stephens Road they were advised of an altercation between male subjects that had occurred in the roadway.
Police determined that during the altercation shots were fired, and that two people were injured.
According to police, both victims were transported to a local hospital by personal vehicle.
Four unoccupied vehicles parked at or near 1608 St. Stephens Road and 1610 St. Stephens Road, including a Mobile Police vehicle, were struck by gunfire.
No arrests have been made but his remains an active investigation.
