Two People Have Lost Their Lives in Mobile County Wreck

MOBILE COUNTY, AL. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency was called to investigate a single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 3:55 p.m. Sunday, November 23, 2025.
ALEA is reporting that the traffic collision has claimed two lives.
Johnnie C. Murray, 49, of Chunchula, was fatally injured when the Honda Accord she was driving left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught on fire.
Daniel P. Murray, 57, of Chunchula, who was a passenger in the Honda, was also fatally injured as a result of the crash.
Both Johnnie C. Murray and Daniel P. Murray were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 217 near Lanier Lane, approximately 10 miles north of Semmes city limits, in Mobile County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
