Two Missing Teens Found Murdered-1 Arrest Made

WILCOX COUNTY Ala. – On Saturday, Nov. 22, at the request of the Wilcox County Sheriff’s Office, Special Agents assigned to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) launched a double homicide investigation.
An 18-year-old juvenile and a 17-year-old juvenile were both found deceased near Ralph Ervin Road in Pine Hill, located within Wilcox County.
Both juveniles were found with gunshot wounds. The teens had been reported missing since Monday, Nov. 17, and were reportedly last seen near Thomasville.
On Saturday, Nov. 22, Courtney Anderson, 27, of Thomasville, Alabama, was arrested and officially charged with Capital Murder.
Anderson was placed in the Wilcox County Jail.
ALEA said that this continues to be an ongoing investigation.
Once completed, the findings will be turned over to the Wilcox County District Attorney’s Office.
