Two People Die in Baldwin Beach Express Head-On Collision

ROBERTSDALE, Ala. A head-on collision on the Baldwin Beach Express has claimed the lives of two people, according to the Robertsdale Police Department.
Police reported that the collision occurred Sunday evening at around 7 p.m., September 6, 2026,
Multiple fire departments, police and EMS responded to the scene between Est Silverhill and Fairgrounds Road and found two vehicles that had crashed head-on into each other with several people pinned.
The fatal crash caused the roadway to be shut down on both the northbound and southbound sides for several hours during the extrication and investigation.
At this time, the names of the deceased have not been released.
The Robertsdale Police Department is investigating the crash.
