Three People Dead After Vehicle Collides with Four Motorcycles

A group of motorcyclists out for a ride were struck head-on by a vehicle, killing three people including a Mobile firefighter.
Alabama State Troopers said that a Ford Mustang lost control and crashed into the four motorcycles.
According to ALEA, 21-year-old Elizabeth Hearn of Bolton, Mississippi, 39-year-old Kristopher Dotson of Prichard and 39-year-old Marcine Crawford, Jr., a Mobile Firefighter, died at the scene of the crash that happened April 13th, 2025, shortly after 9 p.m. on Highway 158 near Wilmer Georgetown Road.
Hearn was a passenger in the vehicle that collided with the motorcycles.
The Ford was driven by Wade E. Thornhill IV, 21, of Clinton, Mississippi who also critically injured in the wreck.

Crawford was an engine driver for the Mobile Fire Rescue Department at the Seelhorst station for 10 years.
“Marcine loved the fire service and had a heart to serve,” said Mobile Fire Chief Johnny Morris, Jr. “He enjoyed mentorship and teamwork and the satisfaction of seeing things through.”
His coworkers are grieving as they prepare to lay their friend and coworker to rest.
At this time, ALEA troopers are continuing their investigation.
