Three Arrested in Bay Minette Armed Robbery

Bay Minette Police have arrested two men and a juvenile after they were involved in an armed robbery involving a meet-up to trade a gun that happened Sunday at around 3:50 p.m.
Police said the victim and suspects planned to meet and conduct the trade at the Marathon Gas Station at 2001 Highway 31 S. in Bay Minette.
The BMPD news release said the victim provided the suspects with the firearm, and the suspects responded by pointing a handgun and AR-15 rifle at the victim and drove away.
Police were called and the victim described the suspects to officers and gave their direction of travel.
Officers found the vehicle traveling northbound on Highway 31, and made a traffic stop on the vehicle.
Police took the three people into custody, and they were later identified as, Jayden Devon Jenkins, 21, of Monroeville; Forever Michael Watts, 21, of Bay Minette; and a 16-year-old boy who police did not identify.
According to the news release, officers found the stolen firearm, an AR-style handgun, an AR-15 rifle, and a Glock handgun during the arrest.
All three will be charged with first-degree robbery and were taken to the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Correctional Facility. They are awaiting a bond hearing.
Bay Minette police said the case remains under investigation.
