Theodore Man Succumbs to Injuries From Car Wreck

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, has claimed the life of a Theodore man.

Donald L. Johnson, 70, was critically injured when the 2022 Ram 1500 pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree.

Johnson was transported to USA Health University Hospital in Mobile, where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.

The crash occurred on Williams Road, less than one mile south of Mobile, in Mobile County.

Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
