Teenager Struck by Vehicle at Spanish Fort High School

A teenager at the Spanish Fort High School was struck by a vehicle Wednesday evening at around 5:05 p.m.
The Baldwin 911 communications center dispatched the Spanish Fort Fire Department and an ambulance to the school.
The Spanish Fort Police were already on scene at the time of the incident.

Firefighters arrived and checked on the teenager who had minor injuries.

Due to the mechanism of injury, a medical helicopter was dispatched also but was later canceled.

An adult decided to transport the teen to an area hospital and the ambulance was canceled.

This is the second teen who has been struck by a vehicle in recent months.
