Teen Shot, Four Homes Hit by Gunfire

MOBILE, Ala. Gunshots rang out in the 7100 block of Tangerine Avenue at about 11:17 p.m. Thursday night.

One teenage girl was wounded, and four homes were struck by the gunfire, Mobile police said.

Mobile Fire-Rescue responded and transported the girl to an area hospital with what they believe to be non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the girl was inside one of four homes that were hit by bullets but they do not think that she was the target.

No other injuries were reported.

Police said their investigation into the incident is ongoing.
