Foley City Employee Arrested on Possession of Child Pornography and First-Degree Voyeurism

FOLEY Ala. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a man identified as a City of Foley employee on charges of possession of child pornography and first-degree voyeurism.
Jeff Scott Phillips, 55, is a construction project manager in the city’s engineering department.
Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office reported that Phillips, 55, is charged with possession of child pornography and first-degree voyeurism.
He was booked into the Baldwin County Detention Center and was being held on a $30,000 bond.
We have been told that the investigation is ongoing and that the sheriff’s office will not be releasing further details at this time.
The City of Foley released a statement that said that “These allegations are deeply concerning and do not reflect the values or standards of our city and community. “We recognize the impact this news may have on our community and our team. Our priority is to ensure transparency, accountability, and to uphold the integrity of our city as we learn more. We will provide updates as appropriate and in accordance with the law.
Phillips has been placed on administrative leave.”
