MOBILE, Ala. Mobile police arrested a Springhill Medical Center employee after she called her employer and made a bomb threat.
Police were called to the hospital after receiving a phone call saying that there was a bomb that was someplace in the facility.
Mobile police officers were dispatched to the medical center at around 2.m. and when they arrived, they said they found that the call was made from inside the hospital, “requesting everyone to evacuate the building.”
Officers were able to determine that the call was made by a hospital staff member and identified that employee as 32-year-old Elizabeth Marie Bass.
Bass was arrested after officers and charged with second-degree making terroristic threats and taken to Mobile Metro Jail.
