Driver Charged With Eluding Police-Reckless Endangerment

MOBILE Ala. Mobile police officers attempted to conduct a traffic enforcement stop on the driver of a vehicle on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at approximately 2:34 p.m. around Moffett Road and Wolf Ridge Road.
The police officer had observed a traffic infraction and activated his emergency equipment but the driver, later identified as Lee Hicks, 33, fled officers and led them on a vehicle pursuit and was stopped in the 2600 block of Glass Avenue where Hicks was taken into custody.
Hicks has been charged with Attempting to Elude Law Enforcement, Resisting Arrest, and Reckless Endangerment.
Additionally, Hicks had outstanding warrants out for his arrest from the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office and Saraland Police.
Police transported him to the Metro Jail.
