Summerdale Pursuit Ends in Crash, Arrest
SUMMERDALE Ala.

On Tuesday morning at around 1:30 a.m., a Summerdale Police Officer was running stationary radar in the vicinity of AL 59 and County Road 32.
During this time, a white sedan traveling northbound passed the officer at 117 mph.
The officer attempted to catch up to the vehicle as it proceeded north on AL 59 into Robertsdale, reaching speeds of 123 mph.
Once in Robertsdale, the suspect vehicle struck another vehicle on AL 59, north of AL 104.
Police said that at that time, the suspect vehicle then came to a stop and the driver was taken into custody.
The driver, identified as 27-year-old Kody Lenahan, from Foley, was charged with Felony Fleeing and Eluding, Leaving the Scene of an Accident, and Driving Under the Influence. Lenahan was lodged at the Baldwin County Jail.
Summerdale PD was assisted by Robertsdale PD, Silverhill PD, and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.
The Robertsdale Fire Department also responded to the crash.
