Stabbing Near Daphne Under Investigation

DAPHNE, Ala. Law enforcement responded to a report of a stabbing just outside of the Daphne city limits on Wednesday night.

According to authorities, a woman was stabbed near 25300 Pollard Road at about 5:25 p.m.

Both the Belforest and Daphne Fire Departments responded to the emergency, along with Medstar and the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office.

A medical helicopter was also dispatched.

The female received stab wounds to the abdominal area.

The names of the victim and the suspect have not been released yet.

Law enforcement said that this was an active investigation.
