Shooting in Robertsdale Leaves One Person Dead

A report of a shooting late Wednesday afternoon sent emergency personnel and police rushing to a normally quiet part of Robertsdale.

The shooting was reported at approximately 5:35 p.m. in the 100 block of Eagle’s Loop.

It has been reported now that the shooting was self-inflicted, and that the person did not survive.

While police have not yet provided any details about the shooting, a person close to the family confirmed the details and thought it was intentional but did not want to say more than that.
