Serious Interstate-10 Accident Injures Pedestrian

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala.

A serious two-vehicle accident involving two vehicles and a pedestrian on Interstate 10 near Loxley ended with one person being seriously injured according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The crash was reported near Exit 44 Westbound at around 5:12 p.m. Saturday.

According to troopers, the driver of a 2025 Ram Rambler hit a pedestrian in the roadway, and then struck the pedestrian’s vehicle, a 2021 Toyota RAV4, ALEA said.

ALEA gave no information about why the injured person was out of their vehicle and in the roadway.

The pedestrian was taken to University Hospital in Mobile for treatment.

 Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate the crash.
