Semmes Police Use Taser to Subdue Domestic Violence Suspect

SEMMES, Ala. A Mobile man who police said broke into a person’s door and made threats toward her during a domestic violence incident, has been arrested after fleeing from police and hiding in the woods.
Semmes police responded to Pine Meadow Drive regarding a domestic violence call and were told that Gary Ramos had just fled after damaging property and threatening a woman.
Police searched the area and found Ramos hiding in the woods, and he refused to comply with the officer’s commands, and a Taser was used to make the arrest.
Ramos was arrested and has been charged with first-degree domestic violence, resisting arrest, and attempting to elude.
He was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail.
