Police Spot Vehicles Shooting at Each Other, Pursuit and Arrest Follows
MOBILE, Ala.

Mobile police officers were patrolling in the area of the 3200 block of Dauphin Street at around 2 a.m. when they observed gunshots coming from two vehicles.
Police said that the occupants of both vehicles were shooting out of their windows at each other.
Officers immediately attempted a traffic stop on the vehicles, but one driver immediately fled, and police pursued it and got the vehicle stopped near Hillcrest Road and Airport Boulevard.
Officers immediately detained Nicholas Sanders, 26, of Mobile who was the driver.
Sanders was arrested and taken to the Mobile Metro Jail and has been charged with attempting to elude, failure to obey a police officer and discharging a firearm with the city limits, jail records show.
Mobile police said that they are still investigating the incident and are looking for the driver of the second vehicle.
