Police Reporting Fatal Wreck Involving Person Shot

MOBILE Ala. Mobile police were called to the scene of an accident on Tuesday and found that one driver had serious injuries.

Mobile police and fire departments responded to the 1200 block of Woodland Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers observed a vehicle that had flipped near Metals USA. The male driver was pronounced deceased on the scene.

Upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim had a gunshot wound.

The Mobile Police Department’s Homicide Unit took over the investigation.

At this time, the person’s name has not been released and this is an active investigation.
