Police Investigating Shooting at USA Apartment Complex

MOBILE, Ala. A shooting at an apartment complex on the University of South Alabama property sent police officers from both the USA Police Department and Mobile police to the scene.
The shooting occurred around 6:30 p.m. at the Central House Apartments and one man was taken to the hospital with gunshot wounds, according to university officials.
A spokesperson for the university said that the victim is not currently a student.
University officers and the Mobile Police Department are working jointly and increasing patrols in the area.
Police said that they are searching for the suspect who was last seen driving a black car and leaving the campus.
At this time, it does not appear to be a random shooting.
