Police Chase Down Theft Suspect

A call to police about a vehicle theft ended with a police chase and drug charges.
Mobile police responded to the Oakridge Apartments at 4215 Moffett Toad on Saturday, January 4th, 2025, at around 12:45 a.m.
When officers arrived at the complex, they noticed that the keys were still inside the vehicle.
Moments later a male jumped into the vehicle and took off with police right behind the driver, but he would not pull over for sirens or blue lights.
Officers pursued the vehicle until it finally stopped in the 7300 block of Lott Road in Semmes. Charcello Spencer, 18, was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Spencer faces charges of:
ATTEMPT TO ELUDE-FELONY
THEFT OF PROPERTY 1ST DEGREE
POSSESSION CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE 3RD
