MOBILE, Ala. A Mobile man stands accused of exposing himself inside the library at the University of South Alabama though police did not release further details.
The information also did not disclose if the campus police or the Mobile police made the arrest.
According to the information, a male with no connection to the University was spotted exposing himself inside the library and someone called the police. After police arrived and investigated, police arrested Daawood As-Salafee, 28. During a search of the subject, police also found marijuana.
In general, the University System, including the University of South Alabama, is a public university and anyone can legally come onto campus as long as they do not interfere with the university’s business.
They may use the library and other areas of the campus freely but cannot enter the dorm area without an escort from a student.
