Person Arrested After Fleeing Accident With Serious Injuries

A three-vehicle accident in the 2300 block of Government Street on Monday night, April 7th, 2025, injured one person seriously and landed another person in jail.
One of the vehicles involved also struck a power pole.
Afte the 9 p.m. wreck, the man fled the scene but was later arrested.
Demetrius Miller, 29 was taken into custody and booked in the mobile County Metro Jail.
Mobile Fire-Rescue was dispatched to the scene to render aid.
The driver of one vehicle sustained serious injuries and the occupant of another vehicle suffered minor injuries, according to police. Both were taken to an area hospital.
