PENSACOLA, Fla. Two people have been indicted by a federal grand jury in multi-year scheme to defraud victims out of millions of dollars, according to federal law enforcement.
The FBI became involved after learning of the scheme that crossed state lines.
66-year-old Salvatore John Carpanzano and 54-year-old Heather Gayle Fisher were both arrested on August 5, 2025, and were released from Santa Rosa County Jail on bond the next morning and made their initial court appearances on Wednesday in Pensacola.
The indictment includes charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and two counts of conspiracy to commit money laundering.
The FBI said that Carpanzano and Fisher were pretending to be representatives of Fisher Investments, creating a company using the Fisher Asset Management name and falsely claiming it was tied to the Ken Fisher family, the owners of the investment company.
If convicted, both Carpanzano and Fisher could face up to 50 years in prison on the conspiracy charges.
Their trial is set for Oct. 20 at 8:30 a.m.
