PENSACOLA, Fla. The Naval Air Station Pensacola Blue Angels Homecoming Airshow has been rescheduled, according to a release from the Naval Air Station.
The show has now been scheduled for Nov. 14 and 15 and was originally set for the week of November 7th and 8th.
According to a social media post, headliners of the show, the Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, had an “unexpected commitment.”
“One of the hallmarks of being a Sailor, of being an aviator, and of being part of a team is flexibility,” NAS Pensacola Commanding Officer Capt. Chandra ‘Mamasan’ Newman said. “Just like countless Sailors and Marines have done for 250 years, the NAS Pensacola team will adapt to this situation, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as we celebrate the Navy and Marine Corps’ 250th Birthdays with a great Airshow.”
If you purchased preferred premium seating tickets, the NAS Pensacola Morale, Welfare, and Recreation Department has said the tickets are still valid and will simply transfer to the following week.
This a spectacular airshow and is one of the biggest events in northwest Florida, especially this year, as they will celebrate the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.
