Pedestrian Struck and Killed by Vehicle Near Downtown Mobile

MOBILE, AL.

Mobile police are continuing their investigation into a fatal pedestrian collision that happened near downtown Thursday evening.

Mobile police, Mobile Fire Rescue and EMS responded after a pedestrian was struck by a car on North Broad Street near Dauphin and St. Francis Street at around 7:30 p.m.

Though the male victim was rushed to an area hospital, he has since passed away.

The name of the pedestrian and vehicle driver have not been released.
