New Silverhill Water Tank Under Construction

SILVERHILL, Alabama A much need water tower is under construction in Silverhill
and will add more water security to the growing community.

This new 250K gallon water tank is being erected this week on CR 49, just south of State Hwy 104 and should be completed soon.

Silverhill is among the fastest growing communities in Baldwin County and the State of Alabama and recently opened a new school and several new residential communities are either under construction or have been announced to be built in the community this year.

The additional water tank will give the growing city the additional water that it needs as well as added fire protection resources.

A $2.4 million federal American Recovery Plan grant is being used to help fund the project.
