A high-speed pursuit with a wanted murder suspect led Baldwin County sheriff deputies speeding down county roads and onto Interstate 65 Wednesday afternoon.
ALEA troopers joined the pursuit on I-65 as well as several other agencies.
Balldwin County deputies began chasing the vehicle because it had been stolen out of Georgia.
At one point, law enforcement was able to use “spike strips” and popped one of the tires on the vehicle but the driver, Ra’mon Tyrese White continued trying to drive the vehicle
White, a murder suspect wanted in Mobile, had outstanding warrants and police had been looking for him according to the Mobile police.
Deputies got the vehicle stopped near mile marker 34 and took White into custody.
BCSO charged White with receiving stolen property, eluding, tampering with evidence, and resisting arrest in Baldwin County
He was transported to the Mobile Metro jail where he is now charged with murder and burglary.
Darrius Bell, Dejuan Harris, and Antwan Hall were arrested on January 3rd in connection with a murder that occurred on Darwood Drive.
