UPDATE: Multiple Fire Departments Respond to Silo Fire

UPDATE:
Firefighters from at least eight fire departments responded throughout the morning and early afternoon, and assisted with supplying water tankers and ladder trucks.
Firefighters said that it was a tough fire to fight and that it took about eight hours to completely extinguish the fire.
BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. Multiple fire departments were called to the scene of a silo fire early Tuesday morning.
The fire reported to be at 14114 CR 83 was called into the Baldwin County Communications Center at around 7:19 a.m.
Summerdale firefighters were the first to arrive on-scene and reported a working fire and requested that additional fire departments be dispatched to the fire.
A mutual-aid response brought four additional fire departments including ladder trucks needed to fight the high-rise fire.
At the time of this publication, firefighters were still working on extinguishing the fire.
No injuries have been reported thus far.
