Multiple Fire Departments Are Battling a Citronelle Church Fire

CITRONELL, AL. Multiple fire departments were called in to assist the Citronelle Fire Department as they battled a working fire at an area church.
According to authorities, the fire was at a church located on Highway 45 and Sand Ridge Road.
According to officials, a woman was driving down Highway 45 around 9 a.m. when she lost control of her vehicle, then left the road and crashed into Citronelle Church of God of Prophecy.
Upon impact, the vehicle caught fire, causing the church to also catch on fire, according to officials.
The church is a total loss, according to a fire department spokesperson.
Creola firefighters and several others are currently on scene along with police and an ambulance.
Currently, there have been no reports of any injuries.
