Motorcyclist Critically Injured in Fairhope Collision

FAIRHOPE, Ala. A serious motor vehicle collision in Fairhope on Thursday, January 8th, 2026, critically injured a motorcyclist and continues to be under investigation.
The crash occurred at around 11:10 a.m. near the intersection of State Highway 181 and State Highway 104 involved a motorcyclist and at least one passenger vehicle and there were several people who were injured and transported to area medical centers, according to police.
Fairhope police and fire departments along with Medstar responded to the initial 911 call for help but because of the severity of injuries that the motorcyclist, a medical helicopter was also dispatched and landed on State Highway 181 near the WaWa store.
The condition of those injured is not known at this time.
