More Than a Million People Attended Mobile’s Mardi Gras Parades With No Major Incidents!

The Mobile Mardi Gras parades have officially ended once again with yesterday’s Fat Tuesday celebrations!
According to Mobile City officials and the Mobile Police Department, more than a million people attended those parades in Mobile, and overall, things went pretty smoothly!
The Mobile Police Department estimates 236,016 people attended parades on Fat Tuesday.
No major incidents were reported during Tuesday’s festivities, but police said that they made 8 misdemeanor arrests. They also towed 41 vehicles for illegally being parked.
Authorities have also announced that during the 2025 parades, 1,367,141 people are estimated to have attended the parades.
Mobile police made a total of total arrests including:
33 misdemeanor arrests and 7 felony arrests
There was a total of 9 children lost but all were found safely.
Police reported that there were 376 vehicles towed for illegally being parked.

1,103,235 people estimated to have attended parades
415 vehicles towed
34 misdemeanor arrests
9 felony arrests
7 lost children
The Mobile Police Department reported no serious incidents, or violent crimes during this year’s Mardi Gras parades.
