Mobile Teen Charged With Manslaughter in Fatal Crash
MOBILE, Ala.

Police have arrested a 17-year-old Wilmer teen and charged him with manslaughter after he is accused of killing another teen in a crash last month.
The name of the person arrested can not be identified under Alabama law however we know that the fatal crash killed 19-year-old University of South Alabama student Nolan McDavid.
In a police investigation, officers found that McDavid was driving on Lott Road when a car being driven by the 17-year-old collided with him head-on.
McDavid died at the scene. The 17-year-old was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The arrested teen was under the influence of alcohol and going 86 mph in a 55-mph zone when he crossed the center line and hit McDavid according to ALEA.
