Mobile Sheriff’s Office Make Arrest For Online Exploitation of Children

MOBILE, AL. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit has arrested Kyle Sealy (DOB: 06/26/2002) following an investigation into the online exploitation of children.
The investigation began in March 2026 after MCSO investigators received information from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) regarding suspected child sexual abuse material (CSAM) that had been uploaded to an online platform.
Through the investigation, and in coordination with state and federal law enforcement partners, MCSO ICAC investigators identified Sealy as a suspect and obtained 16 felony arrest warrants.
On September 9, 2026, members of the MCSO ICAC Unit traveled to Birmingham, Alabama. With assistance from the Birmingham Police Department Violent Crimes Apprehension Unit,
investigators located and arrested Sealy.
Sealy was transported to the Jefferson County Jail, where he is being held pending extradition to Mobile County.
Sealy is charged with:
- Five counts of Unlawful Possession of Child Pornography
- Two counts of Unlawful Dissemination of Child Pornography
- Five counts of Transmitting Obscene Material to a Child
- Three counts of Electronic Solicitation of a Child
- One count of Production of Child Pornography
The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to identifying and pursuing individuals who use technology and online platforms to exploit children. MCSO’s ICAC Unit works closely
with local, state and federal partners to investigate reports involving the online exploitation of minors and to hold offenders accountable.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information will be released as appropriate
