Mobile Police Pursuit Ends in Arrest of Burglary Suspect

MOBILE, AL. A Mobile Police Officer on patrol Thursday, August 28, 2025, spotted a vehicle where the owner was known to be wanted for burglary and attempted to stop the vehicle.
Upon activating his emergency equipment to make the traffic stop in the area of Carol Plantation Road and Three Notch Road the driver refused to stop, leading officers on a pursuit that ended in the area of Schillinger Road and Rosewell Drive.
Additional police officers responded and aided in getting the vehicle stopped and took the driver, Christin Johnson, 29, into custody.
Johnson was transported to Metro Jail where he was charged with Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, Attempt to Elude.
Police said that Johnson was wanted after he stole tools from a vehicle at 5170 Motel Court (Express Inn Suites).
