Mobile Police Officer Injured in Crash During Pursuit

MOBILE, Ala. A Mobile police officer who was involved in a pursuit lost control of their vehicle and smashed head-on into a tree injuring himself on Overlook Road.

The officer, who has not been named yet, had non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to an area hospital.

Police said that two people were arrested related to that pursuit, but police did not say what started the pursuit or what the two people were been charged with.

More information will be released by MPD today.
