Mobile Police Investigating Intentional Pedestrian Hit and Run Incident

MOBILE, Ala.
Mobile police are searching for a person involved in a “Hit and Run” pedestrian accident on Sunday on U.S. 90.
Officers were called to the scene at approximately 3:17 p.m. near the Waffle House located at 5448 Highway 90.
Upon arrival, officers found that a female had been struck by a vehicle that did not stop.
The victim was treated by Mobile Fire-Rescue and then transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Upon further investigation, police discovered an unknown female subject intentionally struck the victim with her vehicle during a road-rage incident.
Police said that the person who was driving a blue Toyota Camry with faded paint on the hood and roof, was stopped on EB Highway 90 when the victim drove around the vehicle to avoid hitting it. The subject then followed the victim to Waffle House where the incident occurred.
