Mobile Police Investigating Fatal Weekend Traffic Collision

MOBILE, AL. A traffic collision has led to the death of one person and the injuries of several others.
Mobile police responded to the traffic wreck Saturday night at around 11:50 p.m., June 20th, 2026, at the intersection of Schillinger Road and Cottage Hill Road.
Responding officers found an adult man who was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries from the crash, police said.
Mobile Fire-Rescue was on scene and treated an adult man and an adult woman who were taken to a local hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
While this is an active investigation, police are not releasing any further details at this time.
