Mobile Police Investigating Dauphin Street Homicide

On Thursday, April 17, 2025, at approximately 9:16 p.m., officers responded to 2906 Dauphin Street (Sage Park) in reference to 911 calls about shots being fired in the area.
Upon arrival, police found a large number of people were leaving the area.
Officers were notified that a female victim and a male victim were transported by personal vehicles to local hospitals with gunshot injuries.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered the two individuals were shot in the parking lot.
The female victim, identified as Frenicka Craig, 28, died at the hospital.
The male victim as hospitalized with a gunshot wound.
This remains an active homicide investigation, and no further information will be released at this time.
