Mobile Police Charge Person in Shooting Incident

MOBILE, AL. On Thursday, December 25, 2025, at approximately 2:37 a.m., officers responded to the 900 block of Dawes Road in reference to a shooting.

Police officers and the Mobile Fire-Rescue arrived to find one male had been shot.

He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and was reported to have non-life-threatening wounds.

Police said that upon further investigation, officers discovered the victim was involved in an altercation with a known male subject when the subject produced a gun and shot the victim.

Police were able to arrest Corey Harrell, 29, and he was transported to Metro Jail.
