Mobile Police Charge Man After Shooting at Dauphin Street Bar
MOBILE Ala.
Police were called to a shooting at a bar on Dauphin Street, Sunday, October 20, 2024, at approximately 11:58 p.m.
The bar was identified as Haley’s Bar located at 278 Dauphin Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered that a male victim was shot inside the bar and EMS and Mobile Fire-Rescue treated the person scene before transporting him to a local hospital for further treatment.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered that an altercation had occurred between the male subject and a known female individual just a few minutes earlier.
Investigators discovered the subject intended to shoot another individual but missed, and instead shot the victim who was near the back of the bar.
The subject, Michael Sullivan, 50, was still on- scene when officers arrived.
He was arrested and transported to Metro Jail.
Sullivan is charged with Assault-1st Degree.
