Mobile Police Arrest Six Women in Shoplifting Incidents

MOBILE, AL. Nationwide, retail theft continues to increase, including along the Gulf Coast.
Over the weekend, the Mobile Police Department responded to multiple complaints of people stealing from stores.
According to police, numerous retail thefts resulted in multiple people being arrested.
Police reported incidents at:
The theft of more than $200 worth of merchandise at the Dollar General on South Wilson Avenue, where police arrested Briana West and Sirrie Gooden.
Nakindra Richardson and McKenzie Blunt were arrested after store employees said that they stole $70 worth of merchandise from Walmart on East I-65 Service Road.
A second unrelated shoplifting was reported at the same Walmart. According to police, Ava Ndongo and Briana Herring allegedly stole $80 worth of merchandise from Walmart and were also arrested.
All six women were booked into Mobile Metro Jail on Monday, October 6.
