Mobile Police Apprehend Man Shooting at Vehicles

MOBILE ALA. At approximately 9:00 a.m. Monday morning, May 12, 2025, the Mobile Police Department responded to a report of a person shooting indiscriminately at passing vehicles at the intersection of Dauphin Street @ Monterey Street.
Police were able to apprehend the shooter, later identified as Roderick Alexander, 43.
MPD reported at least one vehicle was damaged but there were no reported injuries.
Alexander was evaluated at a medical facility and later booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail.
