Mobile Man Receives 15-Year Prison Sentence in Deadly Crash

MOBILE, Ala. A Mobile man who pleaded guilty to homicide by vehicle in August has been sentenced to fifteen years in prison.
Michael Gerod Henry, who was the driver in a deadly crash but will only serve three years, depending on his behavior.
Henry collided head-on with Tim McClure, who was 68 at the time of his death, on Snow Road at around 11:35 a.m. on May 1, 2023. McClure was pronounced dead on the scene.
Some family members and McClure’s wife have said that they do not believe that the sentence was fair for taking a person’s life.
