Mobile Man Arrested in 2023 Shooting

MOBILE, AL. A man wanted in a 2023 shooting was arrested by the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Tuesday morning.
Todd Ellison, 42, of Mobile, has been charged in a shooting that injured a man.
Sheriff deputies took Ellison to the Mobile County Metro Jail and have charged him with first-degree assault, a felony.
The shooting, which occurred in the 2700 block of Moot Avenue on November 14, 2023, after the two men, who were known to each other, got into an argument.
The victim suffered a non-life-threatening injury, authorities said.
There’s no word as to why the suspect is just now being arrested or if the warrant was issued previously and the suspect was just recently located.
